Ibanez RG370DX Left Handed Electric Guitar

The Ibanez RG370DX is a popular member of the famous Ibanez RG series - the undisputed standard in guitars for the hard rock player for over 15 years, now available in a left handed version.
Ibanez continues that tradition with the new 370DX and its hot humbuckers, Edge III bridge and Wizard II neck (3-piece maple with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard and sharktooth inlays). The Edge III lets you install strings with or without the ball end, and offers a much lower profile for even better playability. This ingenious design also allows for stiffer string tension arming & improved return-to-pitch and lets you adjust both the height and tension of the arm. Its IBZ INF pickups (2 humbuckers and one single coil) give you the power for heavy rhythm, and blistering, high-gain lead sounds.
Ibanez RG Series
  • For over 15 years, the undisputed standard in guitars for the hard rock player.
  • Pickups and pickup placement provide the hard-edged cutting tone needed for heavy rock.
  • 24 fret thin, flat and fast Wizard and Wizard II necks. Rounder Ultra necks available on RGT3120 neck-thru-body models.
  • Wide assortment of bridges: Hard tail, synchronized trems and the Edge double locking tremolo systems.
RG370DX Features
  • Wizard II Neck

  • 25.5 scale neck is 2mm thicker than the super-thin, super-flat Ibanez Wizard.
  • Basswood Body

  • Basswood is a comparatively lightweight wood, which makes it very comfortable for extended playing. With a good balance of highs and lows, basswood is right in between alder and mahogany in sound character.
  • 24 Jumbo Frets

  • Jumbo frets offer easy playing for leads and chording.

This is a great guitar for the money, but there are some small things like some of the cutouts (like for the pickups) are a little unrefined would be a good word. But nothing I cant live with.

FEATURES:
Super for hte money, the Edge pro tremolo does take a bit of set up work to get it just right. I actually converted mine to a zero point, But once you get it right it works great. As well as a Jackson custom that I have with a Floyd Rose. I have heard and read of people having a problem breaking strings with this tremolo. Not true at all, if you're breaking strings you need to back way off pulling up on the tremolo. I dont care who makes a full floating trem. You can only pull on a string soo much before it breaks. I can bend notes a full 2 steps with my fingers with no string problems at all. I have never used any trem. to raise the pitch of a note, thats what bending is for. The tension springs to tend to vibrate some from time to time, but

Awesome guitar. Balance is great. Sound is out of this world. Very loud in and of itself. I dont have an amp yet so im forced to hook up to a tv for preamp and then to a sterio and even that out does my buddies amp. Definately worth the price. Also AMS the best at getting stuff to u. I live in Alaska and was worried about i making it here in one piece. It made it. Totally impressed.

FEATURES:
The best feature on this baby is the tuning setup. Cant get any easier. After the first intial tuning, lock the nut and tuning is as simple as turning the nobs on the tremolo unit.

VALUE:
Very much worth the price. Would buy more guitars from AMS....."IF THEY WERE LEFTIES!!!!!"

Subject:1 year later..............
Quality: after everyone dying to put thier hands on it a year later just a few minor surface scrathces barely noticeable. Zero work and only general cleaning for a year- quality is diffintely not a issue with this axe.
Reliability: I have drug it around for a year . I have drug this axe through the harshest coditions fron North Carolina to Ohio and back and it stands up to the Red Neck in me. I had it with me in Ohio about a year ago for a month and dropped it down a flight of attic stairs in a hundred year old house....it came to rest with one small surface scratch!!! Everything is still original- I believe that is total reliablity.
Overall: This axe has just about every concievable option you can load into it........ If your a south paw like me .....and looking for a limitless guitar........ The RG370 will give you any sound you need or want or concieve.
Playability and Feel: Unbelievable fast action any where , i have somewhat long fingers and clutsy and the jumbo frets on this 370 is a absolute must have for people like me.
Tone: excellent tone no matter what you plug this baby into. The INF3 and INF4 humbuckers have enough power to light up any thing you plug it into.
Finish: After a year of abuse this Guitar still has a incredidable glow.
Action: Right out of the box.....tuned and strumming in about 45 seconds.

Subject:Big bang for the buck!!!!!!!!!!!!
Quality: This is a great guitar for the money. Everything is well made. The only things that could have been made better are the locking nut and the whammy.
Reliability: I have only had it for a short time but, it seems like it will be very reliable. I have played a few shows with it and have not had any problems.
Overall: Overall this is a great guitar.
Playability and Feel: The neck on this guitar is probably the best thing about it. It is very fast and feels great. It took me a minute to get used to the flat spot on the back of the neck but, once I got used to it, it makes it easier to play fast solos. The only complaint I have about the way it was made is the volume knob could have been a little bit lower or moved back some so it doesn't get in the way of palm muting.
Tone: The tone is awsome. I would replace the pickups if you want more power. They sound great they just are a little weak.
Finish: The finish on it was great. I wish they had another color other than black.
Action: Out of the box this thing is very playable. The action was a little bit higher than I like it but, it was still really good.
