A few words about Ibanez…
Without a doubt Ibanez is one of the world’s foremost guitar manufacturers. The Modern Era of Ibanez guitars began in 1957 and since then they have enjoyed incredible success. They continue to experiment with edgy designs and finishes but have never lost track of their roots. Their amazing Artcore line of hollowbodies are some of the most sought after guitars in the world and their RG line is a must-have for rock and metal fans alike. And don’t discount their bass guitars, cherished by musicians the world over. This is a company that can do it all - straight-ahead rock models, elegant hollow bodies and everything in between. They even have a nice line of pedals and accessories that pros and amateurs have grown to love. Find out for yourself why some performers won’t play anything else but Ibanez.

Subject:Leave all your other basses at home!!!!
Quality: This is a rock solid bass made by a company that will stand behind their products. You will never go wrong with Ibanez and Bartolini. They are just an unstoppable pair. On my two, (I call them the twins) bought at different times from different stores, in different states, they both feel, sound and are exactly the same except for the colors. (I never said they were identical) Now that is the very definition of quality control.
Features: The neck is smooth, fast and the string spacing is just right. The EQ and pick ups are what you have come to expect from Bartolini, SUPER CLEAN, this bass will give you no distortion beyond what you dial in at your amp. It is the perfect studio/ stage bass. The perfect balance is increased only by the fact that it puts the input jack out of the way and not about to be crushed on the floor by we heavy head banging types.
Sound: The tone goes from glassy to dub low, and every where in between. Being a metal player, I find that I can get that good no mid sound with a lot of lows and just enough highs to be able to slap, and grind out those rock bass lines we all love.
Playability and Feel: The neck and pick up placement on this bass is really the crown jewels. To me nothing is more important then the neck feeling broken in and the factory, putting the pick ups in a place that makes me feel like I have already owned it for the last 20 years. The controls are just like mom would make... They are in all the familiar places You don't have to think, just play.
Tone: The Tone? Just think coffee... How dark and moody do you want,,, You a black coffee metal drinker? She's got you covered. You more a Cafe Au Lait smooth jazz kinda guy? Not a problem. You can dial in just about any sound you have ever dreamed up, and will most likely find a few along the way.
Finish: The Two colors available are just about the only thing I didn't like about these basses. I just wanted more color options... The second one i bought had a big scratch on it so i got it for 200 less then the asking price... I repainted it in my trade marked blood splattered on white color. If you like see threw paint jobs on your bass.... your in luck.
Action: I only did a bit of out of the box adjustments... I play in a super low tuning so I wanted to make sure that I had the right tension on the neck. Beyond that, after a full tour, I have not had to make even one adjustment.

Subject:Need a Great Bass?
Quality: If you are seriously looking for the best bang for your buck there is no other bass out there for you. This bass sounds like the presteige, looks like the prestiege, and is priced like an SG.
Features: The tuners are BA, the pickups are perfect, the eq is better than you'd expect and though it may not seem like a feature but it weighs alot less than a warwick.
Sound: Through my eden 410SXT I get all the tone I could imagine.
Playability and Feel: When you pick up this bass you will instantly know that this is a professional instrument. It plays like a dream.
Tone: I would describe the tone as smoth and warm. Allthough I would say that there's plenty of flexibility.
Finish: It's beautiful! Allthough I love the finish I would prefer a more natural finish. Personal prefrence though.
Action: Well not that I think it's fair to judge "action" out of the box(you should always have your gear setup by a pro) but my only complaint would be that the bridge is not a mono rail. Though that may not seem fair for a sub $1K bass.
