Subject:I was a Precision Bass lover until now. Quality at a great price.
Quality: The quality of this guitar is way above it price. It's about time you get more for your money.
Features: The only thing I would add to my bass is an easier opening back for battery replacement.
Sound: I love the bottom tone. I have always been a player that loves bottom. Not a roar but the bottom that completes the sound totally and rides the rhythm section along with the drums as one unit. Goes well together.
Playability and Feel: I love the feel. The rosewood neck gives you a since of stability while playing. Something a maple neck does not. All notes are right on. No wavers from flats to sharps. Check the neck anywhere. It's dead on. First time for me to have a guitar that will do that.
Tone: You couldn't ask for more sensitive pick up. Reminds me of Humbuckers. I am a big fan of Gibson's pick ups.
Finish: The finish is durable and beautiful. I actually got a black one and it is beautiful when I open the case. But it is like a black paint job on a car. Shows every little thing. After 3 hours of playing, it really needs some TLC to bring back it's beauty.
Action: Action is great. No rattle with precise keying on the frets.I am able to get bottoms and funky highs with single adjustment.
