Customer Review Rate and Review this Product: 1 person wrote a review 3 people rated this item Bob from NorthCentral PA Overall Ranking: Overall: Sound: Quality: Reliability: Action: Finish: Playability: Tone: Subject: Good Value Quality: Very well made without looking inside. Sound: Clean side is bright and chimey just as I like it; TS side does not sound quite like a tubescreamer. It's decent,but not as good as the stand-alone TS-9's I own. Volume is substantial. The sound is a little "dry" as are all non-reverb amps to my taste, but I added a Behr. DR400 pedal for a little reverb and 'slapback' and it sounds great. Reliability: Remains to be seen. Looks solid and has a 5 yr. warranty, so at this point can't expect more. Overall: Decent, but could be improved in some areas. The "boost" function is as stated- +6db (checked with a meter), but I would have paid a few bucks more to have it variable (knob at the amp) fm 0-+12db. I haven't used it with a band yet, so I don't know if the boost will be enough for solos. I would buy this amp again, it's very useable, but as with every amp I've owned, there are issues that could be improved upon. Playability and Feel: Easy to use, especially with the optional footswitch, which to me is a must for playing with a group. Tone: Clean chnl- bright and chimey; TS chnl is decent but not quite up to the TS-9 pedal, Finish: I bought this as a "scratch and dent" ($225) and could not find even the smallest cosmetic imperfection!!!
