Ibanez

The Ibanez XPT707 Xiphos is the extreme design we've been waiting for - a neck-thru inferno of tone with Dimarzio humbuckers!
Ever since Ibanez released the Iceman, they have been pushing to produce more radical body styles and different forms of the X & V Designs. The Xiphos' neck-thru body design delivers the ultimate sustain. Its Gibraltar custom 7 bridge delivers maximum performance and tuning stability.

Ibanez has also been working on a new way of painting guitars. The Chameleon finish is an awesome innovation. The paint responds to light and it appears to change color as the guitar moves.

Ibanez XP100C Style Case
To protect and transport your guitar, Ibanez recommends the optional XP100C Style Electric Guitar Case (#IBA XP100C).

A few words about Ibanez…
Without a doubt Ibanez is one of the world’s foremost guitar manufacturers. The Modern Era of Ibanez guitars began in 1957 and since then they have enjoyed incredible success. They continue to experiment with edgy designs and finishes but have never lost track of their roots. Their amazing Artcore line of hollowbodies are some of the most sought after guitars in the world and their RG line is a must have for rock and metal fans alike. And don’t discount their bass guitars, cherished by musicians the world over. This is a company that can do it all. Straight ahead rock models, elegant hollow bodies and everything in between. They even have a nice line of pedals and accessories that pros and amateurs have grown to love. Find out for yourself why some performers won’t play anything else but Ibanez.

Quality
Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
Very well made for the price.
Reliability
How has it stood up over time?
No Problems.
General
Your general opinion of this product.
This is a really nice, pointy, sharp guitar.
Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
Neck diver. This is my first seven so the wide fretboard and strumming/picking took some getting used to.
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
It is very muddy and wet. I like a sharper attack, and can't seem to get it from this guitar.
Finish
How did the stain or paint job look?
[Hanna Montana voice] Pretty Cool
Action
How was the action out of the box?
Action Too high. I tried lowering it as much as possible, but when it is low, you can't attack the strings too much.
