Or, if you want to be discreet, plug your headphones into the included 1/8” headphone output.

Even better is that iRig 2 features a switch that lets you select between a processed signal and a clean "thru" input signal. This means you can also use your mobile device as a tuner, recorder or other tool while preserving the purity of a 100% analog signal path.

Worked for me live on stage
    Product Rating
What is your opinion of this product?
I play both bass and rhythm/lead guitar on stage and thought I'd try it out one night. I used a Bose L1 Compact through a Behringer X18 on stage and switched between guitar and bass with just swapping guitars and changing the setting on my iRig 2...everyone loved it and I just tote one amp!

    Good usable interface.
What is your opinion of this product?
This is a good interface. I use it with Garage band with no issues. The out to amp feature is nice too so you can basically turn your cheap practice amp into a 2800.00 tube amp. Great value for what it gives you.

Good Quality Not What I'd Hoped For
What is your opinion of this product?
Well built. A couple more options. Logistically laid out much better than Version 1. However just not very helpful with my signal. Not sure why but Version 1 works much better for me. I tested every app I used and way I could think of using it.The addition of the volume dial is helpful but didn't provide any additional benefit for my guitars. Maybe thats a good thing since it didn't color the signal but I found that I just could not get the right balance with the in/outs on my iPad 4. Version 1 however does. Again not sure why after extensive time comparing.
