I give it a 5 because I have never have any problems. I suppose the type of printer you use and the type of surface you are trying to print upon can be a problem with ANY media. I use an HP Photosmart D5160 and have NO problems with these CDs. I got them from another source but will be buying them from here now that I found them!

The printable surface produces excellent professional looking results with my inkjet printer. I use photos as backgrounds and the finished product has a photo quality appearance! The quality of the media overall is excellent. I have never had any problems burning with these CDs, they are my #1 choice.

No problems so far and I think it has been 2-3 years since i've been using them. I was buying them from Sams Club but I think the price here *may* be better. I usually was buying smaller quantities there as they don't sell the 100pk there.

This product is extrememly dependable.....
FEATURES:
The best feature of this product is the name...Maxell has been the top name in the business for decaes...nuff said! The only downfall of his product is that I have a Tascam thermal printer, and the surface of the disc area prevents an excellent print....it almost looks like a ghost wrote onto the disc...

Typical cd-r use...how easy is that??
VALUE:
Not what I expected...if the surface was printing friendly..then definitely!!!
