i seems to be well made. it plays well. i use mine on my sailboat and it has to get really rough to make it skip at all.

only thing i would change is the power supply. i would make it run on 12 vdc instead of 12 vac. it would be nice for people living in rv's or boats, and maybe truckers who like to listen to the "smokey and the bandit" soundtrack on vinyl.

i just use it to play records. it's as easy to use as a sesame street record player.

it sounds good when plugged into a stereo. the built in speaker isn't the best.
