High-Output, Custom-Voiced Covered Jackson Pickups

Jackson Dinky JS32R
Quality
Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
The quality exceeded all my expectations. especially the neck.
|
Reliability
How has it stood up over time?
Haven't had it that long so it's hard to say. The tuners look pretty cheap, and I doubt they'll last long. Otherwise this axe seems pretty sturdy.

Overall
Your general opinion of this product.
For the price you really can't beat this guitar. The neck on the one I got was as good as any high end guitar I've played. The frets where done perfect, and the overall feel of the neck is great. round near the headstock for chords, and flat near the bridge to shred. Only complaint I have was that it was shipped to me out of tune. Which for me was no big deal since I have experience with floyed roses. However a beginner would have had to take it somewhere before ever getting to play it. Other than that I'd say this is the best guitar I've seen in it's range.

Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
Again, the neck on this thing is great! nice and round up front. flat and fast at the bottom. Easy to access controls. Couldn't ask for more,
|
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
Great midscoop sounds that metal heads love. bridge pickup has a nice warmth to it I hadn't expected. tons of gain all around.
|
Finish
How did the stain or paint job look?
Pretty basic paint job. no flaws. I'm happy
|
Action
How was the action out of the box?
This guitar's action was great out of the box. nice and low with minimum buzzing. chords and soloing are effortless. Was shipped to me out of tune though. Keep that in mind if you don't know how to tune a rose.
