The Jackson SLATTXMG3-6 Soloist Electric Guitar starts off with an arched Soloist basswood body, a three-piece through-body maple neck with graphite reinforcement, and a bound compound-radius (12-16 inch) rosewood fingerboard for superior stability, sustain and attack. Jackson loads in EMG 81 neck and 85 bridge pickups for a high output tone that is well suited for hard rock, metal and shredders.

    Nice For The Price!!!
What is your opinion of this product?
For the price point this Jackson is great. I am a player of 30 years, not pro, but gigging and hobby. I own and usually play Ibanez and Fender. This Jackson has the feel similar to an Ibanez wizard..just slightly thicker..not quite as thin as a wizard...really great fell enough to grab and thin enough to move with speed...also would prefer an unfinished oiled neck ...this is a painted neck, but, not as sticky as I though it might be. As soon as it arrived, even before asthetic issues, I moved straight to checking the frets...all frets are level and nicely finished and polished, suprisingly at this price point, and tucked behind black binding so very comfortable to your fretting hand..Neck on the other hand, had a more than slight back bow..which after putting new strings on and a few turns of the double action truss rod and a slight lowering of the bridge...now has great LOW action ..NO BUZZ...if you are like me and prefer to get the action low and tight..the compound radius fretboa

    Made for more than Metal!
What is your opinion of this product?
This is a great guitar! First let me say that I don't play Metal or Rock.I am a Jazz Fusion player and this Jackson fits the bill quite nicely. The combination of the speed neck and EMGs give out great tone and definition. I didnt want an axe designed in the 50s, I wanted something for today and today's music and Jackson made it happen.
