Awesome wrapped in beautiful with a handful of destruction!
What is your overall opinion of this product?
From the first time I laid my hands on this beauty it was over for me. This guitar had a certain quality to it that people can spend years searching for but I was lucky enough to see it and scoop it up right away! This guitar could just as well carry a heavier price tag but lucky for us, it doesn't. I can't wait to get myself another one!
What is your opinion of the quality of this product? How does it work for different genres of music?
The quality of this guitar is top of the line. From the fast neck to the floyd and everything in between, this guitar can do it all!
Heavy, fast, chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
I have huge hands and my fingers tend to be too big but the feel of this guitar is simply amazing from the bottom all the way up the neck. It has that not too thick but not too thin feel.
How is the tone? Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick or thin?
Tone...hmmm...well the tone was the thing that sold me once I plugged it in. In clean channel, you have a certain country-esque sound coupled with bell-like tones, if that makes sense, and turn down the volume for some soft but bright tones like right in that sweet spot. Turn up the volume and switch to dirty rhythm and you have some metal madness that will scream when you hit a squeal and drop that Floyd. This guitar has tones suitable for all types of musicians but the metal guitarist would live this guitar!
How did the stain or paint job look?
That blood red look is awesome! Everything a red colored guitar should be!
Did you get what you were expecting for the price? How does it compare to similar products in the same price range?
I honestly think this guitar would go for a higher price and it would be awesome if the price were even a bit less expensive but for what you get out of this guitar is nothing short of epic!
How was the action out of the box?
When I got mine, I adjusted the action only because of my huge hands, the dropped tuning I play with, and the heavy gauge strings I prefer.
