| well i do know that they lack the punch that i thought they would and should have. i thought i could add a pre amp to help out and bang thats what it needed the sounds finally come through the monitor, FYI the pre amp was a test a guy at my local music store told me that i could burn up the amp thats in monitor. never really investigated but so, good quality but lacks the little xtra bump that i like, i guess thats whats happens when u buy b-4 u listen | | Do you own this product?:

you can not ask for more from a pair of studio monitors, considering its price. | | Ease of Use:

| JBL claim it's a reference monitor. I have had them for a week now so I've had not enough time to test them, therefore, I'm still not convinced if they are good enough for mastering.
but if you consider flat and "not easy to ear" sound as a characteristic for reference monitors, these JBLs definitively have this signature.
In conclusion, these Control 2Ps sound BIG, flat & fair. | | Reliability:
