JBL EON15 G2 Powered PA SpeakerThe JBL EON15 G2 is at home as a main PA or on stage as a monitor or instrument amplification system. Musicians who own an EON speaker can use them singly for casual solo or duo work, or combine multiple EON's into a complete, powerful PA system.

Special Features
Versatility. EON's input section allows both mic and line level inputs. In addition, the new Loop/Mix output allows you to daisy-chain EON speakers or send signal directly to the main PA.
Performance. JBL's exclusive Neodymium Differential Drive transducer provides superior audio performance while reducing weight.
Innovation. JBL's exclusive Thermomaster technology prevents thermal problems often exhibited in competitive products and eliminates the need for cooling fans and ugly external heatsinks, even at high volumes. Here's how Thermomaster technology works: EON's single piece cast aluminum baffle is thermally coupled to the heat producing elements. (Voice-coils and amplifier.) The woofer produces air movement, which flows through the finned ports and dissipates the heat.
More Power. With the EON15 G2's additional power, you get cleaner, clearer sound at any volume. The low frequency has more than doubled to 300 watts and 100 watts are dedicated to the high frequency horn.
History. There are over 300,000 EON speakers being used. It IS the industry standard.
The company that set the bar in portable powered speaker systems raises it with EON Generation 2;
Newly enhanced EON speakers feature improved Neodymium Differential Drive transducer, higher power and advanced Thermo Master technology.
Creating a new benchmark for portable powered speaker systems, JBL has announced the second generation of its famed EON series: the EON G2 Powered Speaker System. The next wave of EON systems promises to build upon the high level of performance that has come to be expected from its predecessor.
The flagship of the new series is the JBL EON15 G2, delivering 300 watts of power to a 15-inch Neodymium Differential Drive low frequency driver. The driver boasts a dual neodymium magnet and dual voice coil motor that delivers high output and low distortion from a lightweight woofer. Meanwhile, the high frequency amplifier delivers 100 watts of power to a 1.75-inch titanium diaphragm compression driver with Ferro-fluid cooling.
JBL's revolutionary Thermo Master Total Thermal Management System eliminates the need for any internal or external cooling fans. Instead, a single piece, cast-aluminum baffle integrates the woofer frame, horn and amplifier heat-sink while air movement through the finned ports dissipates heat. The appearance of EON15 G2 has been updated with an attractive but unobtrusive all black finish and the EON logo subtly stamped into the grill.

| Every gig is different, the equipment has got to hold up from the time you take it off the van to the time you sling it back in there at 2:30 am. In between, your rig has to adjust to the room, sound better than you feel and most of all, make the crowd know you came to play. I got the G2 just for that. It handles my keyboard like nobody's business. From surf to soul, blues to beat,it holds up...buy two and send me one. This one is Rig Perfect. | |

| Sound is great. The portability is great as well. These weigh about the same as the unpowered JBLs I used for years and the best part is , I don't have to haul around a 50lb power amp any more!
The only negative is the power cord connection to the unit. I've had to rig them so the don't come loose when we play an outside gig. If they get hot, the cord can come loose. | |

| I have been running a karaoke show with these speakers for three years. They have been knocked over and dropped a few times along with being loaded in and out of my vehicle at least 4 times a week. JBL EONs are very durable and I have been more than happy with these speakers! I will stick with JBL products! | | Features:
| I picked these speakers because they are only 48 lbs and easy to transport. The amps are built in and also have an eq and volume control from the speaker. Vocals sound very crisp and clear. I can't stress how perfect they are for karaoke and DJing. | | Ease of Use:
| They are very easy to use! I was set up and ready to play them in a very short period of time. | | Sound:
| I see a lot of live music and karaoke functions. Most use Peavey speakers, and these are FAR better in sound. I recommend getting the matching EON sub with the set. I love them! | |

STYLE: All
MUSIC EXPERIENCE: Djing for over 20 yr's ( i'm a old man i love the small but powerful size)
OVERALL: I bought a pair along with one jbl 15inch sub. They sound great together. I looked @ the Mackies before i bought the jbl's, and i belive the mackie 12 inch has a cleaner sound, but the jbl's can handle bass sounds better. Plus the jbl 15 inch sub is light weight and sounds good with G2's. Plus easier on my pockets than the mackies with their sub. Only 2 minor things i don't like about the Jbl's. (1) when u push them or when they get hot the power cord can come lose. (2)They have a hiss sound when no music is playing. Other than that i love them. I'm a DJ from Ct and i use the for weekend gigs. I don't know how they would sound for live music, but for a DJ they sound great. Just watch the power cord when you push them. |
