In a surround sound system the sub provides stunning reproduction of the LFE (low frequency effects) channel. The LSR2310SP is packed with professional features including two sets of balanced XLR, balanced 1/4 inch and unbalanced RCA input connectors, selectable crossover settings and two sets of balanced outputs to allow connection of Left and Right main speakers. A detented level control allows independent adjustment of the subwoofer output to balance the subwoofer in your system. The connectors are all really nice and sturdy. Features: Very Accurate Very DEEP bass. A little louder would be nice but its a monitor, not a gig sub. Ease of Use: Plug XLR, RCA or TRS in from your source, Uplink to Monitors via XLR. Only wish is the ability to do TRS to monitors as I have a bunch of those cables laying around. Sound: Perfect, great control of Cross Over. Reliability: Only had it for a few weeks but the design of the port/amplifier cooling apparatus is really slick. Overall: Amazing, Would buy again. Quality: again we will see. However, it is JBL so..... Features: Crossover is great. I wish however you could disable the sub whilst still listening to the tops. I'm sure if I dig into my patchbay there will be a method. Ease of Use: Easy hookup. Built in crossover. But where do you put it exactly? Sound: If you keep the crossover at 80hz it sounds beautiful.
