monitor strip features found in large mixing consoles. Since the acoustics of your room can play a big part in what you hear, the MSC1 includes JBL's highly acclaimed RMC Room Mode Correction Technology. The end-result is a calibrated reference environment in which your speakers work in harmony with your room to take the guesswork out of mixing. With RMC you can tune your monitor system for greater clarity at the mix position. With the MSC1, you’re clearly in control.
Room Mode Correction
A JBL first, the RMC Room Mode Correction system includes everything needed to analyze LF problems and restore low frequency accuracy at the mix position. RMC is included in JBL’s premium LSR6300 series and LSR4300 Series. The MSC1 makes RMC available at a most affordable price point for use with any speakers.
Control Center Software
In addition to managing RMC Calibration, the MSC1 Control Center Software provides fine-control of monitor EQ, speaker alignment delay, subwoofer balance and bass-management crossover settings. Control Center Software is included with the MSC1. Control Center is compatible with XP and Vista 32-bit and 64-bit operating systems. Macintosh software is in development. After setup with the software, the MSC1 is no longer required to be connected to your computer.
