Product Description

The Jet City JCA20HV Vintage Tube Guitar Amplifier Head is a simple, single-channel amp, and the all-tube signal path has been completely re-voiced. It’s a bit cleaner, a bit darker, and the power section has been ‘opened-up’ more. In addition to the Presence control, we’ve also added a depth switch based upon Soldano’s famous Depth control. Finally, we’ve included a post-master effects loop.

Overall Rating
Playability and Feel
My favorite new amp
Your general opinion of this product.
I own over 30 amps, both vintage and boutique. This is my new gigging amp in my NYC area club date band.
Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
It appears to be well made, nothing caught my eye as being cheesy.
Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
Feels like a combo of a Deluxe and a JTM45
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
Dark and fat is the best description of the tone. Works great with its matching 2x12 cab.
How has it stood up over time?
It's new, but sounds solid after 3 gigs.
