The Snap Jack Guitar Cable uses high end cables and neodymium magnets with 24 carat gold plated connectors. Snap Jack magnets allow for quick separation when the cable is subject to excessive tension, thereby reducing the risk of personal injury and damage to your equipment, while eliminating any obnoxious popping or screeching sounds when it snaps. It also avoids the popping screeching sound during plugging or unplugging of the cable while the amplifier is on. Subject:Comes in handy almost every time I use it!
Quality: I would compare the quality of the cable itself to Monster Cable. I have several Monster Cable instrument cables, and this cable compares favorably.
Features: The ability to disconnect without unplugging the guitar comes in handy more than I ever realized. Ever needed to answer the phone or pick something up that was out of range of the cable? You used to have to either set your axe down or unplug the cable from the opposite end to avoid a nasty pop. While this seems simple enough on paper, there have been many situations where my set up made doing either of those two things a little cumbersome. Now I just reach down & pull the end of the cable off. Very quick & convenient.
Ease of Use: This cable has honestly made many things I do a lot easier, it even helps when I'm troubleshooting the guitar pedals I build.
Value: At first I thought it was a little pricey, but considering the quality of the cable I now think it was definitely worth the investment.
