This dual-deck DJ controller offers equalizer and volume controls with Track reading (jog wheels, effects, pitch) and track mixing (cross-fader, volume faders, kill) controls to create a wide mixing deck designed for mixing without compromise. Included Virtual DJ DJC 5 version for PC & Mac offers a controllability that allows for easy mixing and gives access to a variety of advanced features.

Although built with a compact design, the Control Steel provides Ample space under the DJ’s fingers allows precise mixing with this portable controller. The controller connects to and is supplied power through the computer’s USB port (whether PC or Mac, laptop or desktop). With the included Carry bag, you can just put the Hercules DJ Control Steel over the shoulder from gig to gig.

| This thing is SOLID. Aside from the faders/sliders being plastic, this guy never slips, although a hefty almost 10 lbs, WAY better than carrying around a TON of record crates (although Vinyl is amazing, Digital is it's own art). If i could put a guarantee on it, I WOULD! | | Features:
| I LOVVEEE the jogwheels, first one's I've used that are THIS accurate! You can actually, accurately SCRATCH! I also am now DEPENDENT on the playlist browsing feature, you can scroll through and add tracks to decks in ANY software with JUST the deck! NO NEED FOR A MOUSE OR KEYBOARD! | Sound is PRETTY FREAKIN GOOD for a usb sound card. In my opinion, as a computer nerd as well, It would be wise for everyone to know, that this IS powered off USB and just like all USB peripherals it is vulnerable to data artifacts across the USB bus. So what I'd recommend is running it off a SEPERATE usb card (or the only usb thing plugged into your laptop) as well as an externally powered USB hub with a ground... JUST IN CASE! | | Overall:
