Remo Ebony Powerstroke 3 Bass Drum Head with Hole
The Remo Ebony Powerstroke 3 features a thin underlay at the outer edge of the head to subtly dampen unwanted overtones.
Ebony P3 heads are best known for use as a resonant bass drum head. This creates perfect balance of mid and low tones that has quickly made Ebony Powerstroke 3 one of Remo’s most preferred resonant bass drumheads.
A 5-inch black DynamO is installed on this head.

The Remo Bass Drum Muffling System was developed in conjunction with Dave Weckl.
Designed to be incredibly versatile allowing the player the ability to control the amount of head sustain. Achieve a multitude of bass drum sounds without changing drum heads. Simply move the muffling strip closer to the head for more dampening or farther away for less. Your purchase includes a hardware package, and a Bass Muffle Strip.
Remo Powerstroke 3 Clear Bass Drum Head with Falam Slam
The Powerstroke concept of adding an underlay ring was pioneered by Remo. The Remo Clear Powerstroke 3 Bass Drum Head with Falam Slam is a single ply ambassador-weight head with an underlay ring at the outer edge of the head to subtly dampen unwanted over-ring. This design creates a near-perfect balance of response and tone control that has quickly made Powerstroke 3 one of Remo's most popular drumhead models. Recommended for all drumming styles and situations, a dot is included separately in the box.
The Powerstroke 3 bass drum head uses a 10 mil ring.
Rick Allen, Kenny Aronoff, Travis Barker, Sonny Emory, and Akira Jimbo for instance use Clear Powerstroke 3 heads. Tom Brechtlein uses Smooth White Powerstroke 3 bass heads, while Tre Cool and Stewart Copeland use Coated Powerstroke 3s and Tris Imboden uses a coated Powerstroke 3 snare head.
Remo Clear Powersonic Bass Drum Head
The Remo Powersonic Bass Drumheads gives the drummer controlled mid range and low end for the most powerful bass drum sound that’s “IT”, right out of the box. The Powersonic Bass Drumheads are Constructed of 2 ply 7 mil MYLAR with two specifically placed internal subsonic dampening rings with ESDS technology External Snap-on Dampening System. The two mounted three quarter inch internal dampening rings enhance low end without fixating trays or hard backed dampening materials to the drumhead. The unique patent pending ESDS system employs snaps mounted directly to the drumhead to eliminate the possibility of vibration. This allows you to easily customize your muffling, feel and sustain for different playing situations by “snapping” the strategically placed weighted pillow to the drumhead. Also included is the FALAM SLAM for added attack and durability.
