Kramer

Kramer is proud to announce the Pacer Classic. This model‘s specs’ are off of the famed 1983 USA Pacer and is a classic shredder’s guitar!

The Kramer Pacer Classic’s body, neck and electronics layout is spot on to the 1983 Kramer Pacer, which was famed for its versatility and playability. No wonder every guitar player from that era were Kramer endorsees!

The Pacer’s beak headstock and classic 80’s block logo top off this classic Kramer with a locking nut to keep you in tune. You vintage Kramer nuts will notice we moved the truss rod adjustment to the headstock, but that’s the only difference in the Classic’s neck from the original.

Classic dot inlays on a satin finished, thin tapered Maple neck with jumbo frets. No splice joint here folks, it’s all one piece topped with a Maple board.

A Mahogany body loaded with classic Alnico magnet pickups, with a volume, volume, tone control layout with a 3-way mini-toggle. The variety of tones are MANY! We’ve also added a treble bleed mod to the volume controls to keep that sparkle when you back down the decibels. It’s topped off with a Floyd Rose TM tremolo system for all the dive bombs you can handle while staying in tune.

Kramer was the #1 selling guitar brand in the world in the mid 80’s!

Quality
Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
Guitar appears to be very well made, as far as dependability, I've only had it a few months. I see no major concerns in the future with this guitar.
Reliability
How has it stood up over time?
everything is still working and I see no reason with the quality of this guitar for that to change any time soon.
General
Your general opinion of this product.
Bang for the buck, you can't go wrong with this guitar.
Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
Fast neck, frets well dressed. I don't like the seperate volume knobs for each pickup and will wire them to just the front volume pot. Pickup selector could also be moved forward for easier access.
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
all around decent tone, pickups could be hotter, but hey, it's a $370.00 guitar. I'll be dropping pickups in when I rewire the volume control mess.
Finish
How did the stain or paint job look?
perfect! I acually bought a blemished, and when I took it out of the box I could not find a single mark on it! Guitars hanging on racks at the local music store have more scratches. Saved like $125.00 off sale price.
Action
How was the action out of the box?
Came to my door set up perfect. action high enough for good sustain and low enough to pull off any manuever neccessary. Intonation was set on the nose and no buzzing at any fret could be found. Very happy!
