The Kustom Defender 15H Guitar Amplifier Head is an EL-84 powered, 15-watt tube head in a rugged metal housing with unique, professional features. In addition to the Volume and Tone controls, the Defender 15H head features a four position EQ low-frequency response control for American to British low end response and blended settings in-between.

| There are some dodgy/cheap parts-
i.e. the ac connection is not top quality nor solidly connected, however his hopefully won't be problem if the amp is treated gently - Don't trip over that power cord! |

I have had mixed results with "made in China" products. Here's hoping that Kustom has done better than some others! |

| A clean, no frills, low watt tube amp.
(If you don't like the way your guitar sounds, there's "nowhere to hide.")
You've gotta get it turned up pretty far to get to the overdrive - even at 4 watts, that's pretty loud in the living room - I occasionally wish the designer had included a master volume control. |

| Great feel - it has that subtle "chime and bloom" (compression).
Bass control lets you lighten up the bass when your neck pickup sounds too "woofy." |

| Through a 10" Eminence Delta Demon, this amp has the old school jazz guitar tone of Charlie Christian, Barney Kessel, Kenny Burrell,
Grant Green. When you crank it, you can get to Hubert Sumlin. If you don't know who those guys are, you're probably looking at the wrong amp. (I'm not using any pedals, your mileage may vary.)
The tone control frequency could be centered more toward the bass - I'm running it nearly all the way to the left, even though the Delta Demon is a pretty mellow speaker. |

| I have only owned it for a month, but have no problems with it, it actually is sounding better the longer I have owned it and turns on every time, let it warm up for a minute and let it rip. |

| I did a lot of research before buying this new amp. and sure paid off, does what I wanted, can be very clean to nice breakup. and very loud. I love this amp. |
