| Beautiful looking pickups that also look like they are very well built. WARNING: BE VERY CAREFUL WITH THE PICKUP WIRES WHEN HANDLING OR SOLDERING THEM TO YOUR POTS AND OR SWITCH. THE WIRES ARE EXTREMLY THIN BUT SEEM TO WORK GREAT AS THEY WERE DESIGNED. |

| I've only had it today. But I've heard reviews from others online that have had their Hot Golds for quite awhile without any issues or change in tone. Why would they? Lace Music makes high quality products that with proper care are built to last forever. |

| I am 100% happy with the looks, sound, tone and price of this pickup. Period. Fender Strat Pureist really need to realize that Lace Sensor pickups will give you what older strat pickups can't. And that's a great glassy bell-like clean tone with a lot less hum as well as a great modern pickup sound when distorted. All this without the big price tag and once again, a lot less hum than classic strat built pickups. |

| How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? |
| Plenty of playability from the tone of this pickup. Feels great to finally hear such nice glassy clean tones coming out of my strat. Alnico type of pickups seem to drag on your strings a lot and steal a lot of sustain from your notes. Enter Lace Sensor pickups. |

| The Hot Gold Pickup I installed as a Neck pickup actually improved the overall tone of my Fender amp with original stock tubes still in it. No joke! In my case, plenty of quack in the 4th position as well as on it's own. Nice brights in the 4th position too with great snappy 'spank' capabilities when using your right hand fingers to play with instead of a guitar pick. |

| How did the stain or paint job look? |
| The color is a satin white and not shiny like the Fender Lace Sensor type of pickups. But they still look great as they are. With the red tortoise pickguard that I have on my yellow strat, they look really nice! |

| How was the action out of the box? |
| I messed with the height of the pickups a little and had them sounding the way I wanted them to in no time. The closer you get them to the strings, the louder they sound and still seem to keep their great tone. Nice box from Lace Music. Comes with instructions, a small CD and pickup screws and rubber height grommets. |
