LP introduces the Latin Percussion 1207T Jam Tamb Drum Tambourine for drummers that hit hard and want an impressive and responsive tambourine sound in their arsenal. The Jam Tamb's durable jam block design is designed with six pairs of nickel-plated steel alloy jingles that project a bright, powerful sound.

The Jam Tamb is made from LP's exclusive and indestructible synthetic Jenigor material. A built-in, molded rubber striking surface provides great stick rebound or comfortable hand playing. The LP Jam Tamb is equipped with a mounting eye-bolt and can be conveniently attached to any 3/8-inch rod or to an LP Gajate Bracket.

How is its Tone?
I was disappointed by the lack of volume from this tambourine, especially since the product description describes it as being "bright and powerful". The jingles are bright but there is no projection. I'm not a hard hitter and this tambourine still doesn't cut through for me. Maybe it works better for a hard hitter? All other drum set tambourines I have played are louder and project more than this one.
