The Line 6 EX1 expression pedal is designed for the Stomp Box & Rack Modelers, FBV Shortboard and the AX2 212 Digital Guitar Amplifier System.
Using he EX1 with your Stomp Box Modeler pedal allows you to morph smoothly between any two settings of a model. For the AX2, this pedal can be used for wah or volume. Includes 1/4 inch jack and 1/4 inch connecting cable. Can also be used with any other 1/4 inch cable for longer cable runs. Black plastic, with embossed Line 6 Logo. Includes 1/4 inch connecting cable.

Overall: Pedal is in an ATA road case. Keeps extending it's range of travel and coming apart...unreliable during gigs and frequently needs repairs. Mechanism jams...finally found broken when opened road case. Junk!

Quality: Its plastic...but that means it weighs less when you carry it around! I think it will last as long as you don't abuse it.

Reliability: Only had it a month or two. I carry it along with the M13 in a hard case. So far so good.
Overall: This site had a better price than most. Still a bit overpriced I think. Quality isn't as bad as some say. Use it properly and it'll last.
Playability and Feel: You can use this for SO many things. I use mine with the Line 6 M13. It can be used as a volume pedal, wah, or to control all kinds of parameters. Feels pretty good considering it does so many things.

Quality: It hasn't broken in the studio. Hasn't left it either.
Reliability: It lasts because one doesn't tend to use junk often.
