General
Your general opinion of this product.
Good build, great finish, attention to fine details. I wanted something above a cheapy entry level and the LM220 more than fits the bill.
Quality
Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
Solid and well built. I would expect it to last a long time.
Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
Very comfortable to hold; neck has a slight V-shape and very smooth. Easy to slide up and down the length of the neck.
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
Bright and snappy--exactly what you need to get that bluegrass/country sound.
Action
How was the action out of the box?
Action out of the box was perfect--as low as it could be without any buzz. Just had to touch up the tuning slightly and it was ready to play.
Finish
How did the stain or paint job look?
Excellent. Smooth, no flaws
Reliability
How has it stood up over time?
I've only had it a couple of weeks but I think it will be just fine. Holds tuning without a problem.
