Great Double Pedal!...and it's affordable!

Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
Appears to be rugged and very 'playable'; good response with adjustable spring tension. I made a slight increase in tension and it felt just right. I was playing within ten minutes after I unpacked it. My only negative reaction was about the beaters. They seemed a bit cheap in quality being a plastic ball with a partial felt surface, but perhaps I'm judging them against the solid felt beaters that I'm used to. These beaters seem lighter, which is a good thing for foot-speed. It is an easy change so be your own judge.

None. Which is good for a pedal. Its operation is quiet.

Was this item an overall good value?
Absolutley a great value. If your looking for your first double pedal, start with this one. Any less expensive, and you won't be happy. Spending more would be really hard to justify. And of course, it says Ludwig on it! Yeah, I know, it ain't made in Chicago anymore, but I'm a Ludwig guy.

I would say overall, a very average beginner double bass pedal, so for what I paid, I'm not complaining.
