Ludwig concert snare stands I used in high school were not as heavy but withstood much without problem. Ease of Use: The basket adjustment knob is not the best but serviceable. Sound: It is quiet Value: It is the best value for a quality relatively heavy duty deep snare stand. The basket is offset so is inches lower.
