Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
I was presently surprised. It is good quality for the price. I did see a few nicks on the finish and a flake or two. Some company's may have put it into B-stock, but overall I am very pleased. Double braced is solid. I had the opportunity to tour the Ludwig facility recently and liked what I saw.

How is its Tone?
Cymbal sound good and I don't hear any rattles.

Definitely like the ability to convert between straight stand and mini boom. Stands seem really solid. I am the former product mgr for one of the drum company's so that is where I am coming from. Value is outstanding. Good little stand.
