Luna FLOFPQM Flora Passionflower Acoustic Electric Guitar

With its' stunning visual appearance, quality craftsmanship and professional electronics, the Luna Flora Passionflower Acoustic Electric Guitar is sure to turn some heads. Luna Guitars' Passionflower is a lovely evocation of the blossom for which it is named. From the showy bloom that graces its sound hole to the delicate small parlor body in dramatic trans purple over quilted maple, the Passionflower is a striking instrument. Designed for either acoustic or electric play, the guitar is adorned with all of Luna Guitars' signature appearance features.

Neck
Luna's specially designed neck profile insures a comfortable playing experience that puts challenging notes and chords within easy reach. Luna's exclusive moon phase fretboard markers, inlaid in mother-of-pearl, trace the length of the rosewood fret board over mahogany neck.

Body
Passionflower's parlor cutaway design packs a lot of guitar into an easy-to-hold size. It features a 'purple passion' trans finish over a quilted maple top with maple back and sides for a rich look and resonant sound. The breathtaking mother-of-pearl and abalone inlay makes the Passionflower one of Luna's most distinctive instruments. Glowing petals perch at a sound hole surrounded by a delicately crafted vine motif.

Electronics
Complimenting the design effort is the inclusion of a state-of-the-art B-Band preamp tuner that maintains the intimate and natural acoustic tonal quality of these fine instruments.

Intricately beautiful and sweetly scented, the passionflower has long been valued for both its arresting appearance and its healing qualities. Its calming and soothing abilities, documented for hundreds of years, were well known by indigenous cultures. Flowers span three to four inches in myriad variations of white, pink, red and purple.

Quality
Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
I would highly recommend this guitar based on the overall build quality of the one I own.
Reliability
How has it stood up over time?
I have had mine for about a year, and in that time it has showed no signs of any gremlins lurking about.
Overall
Your general opinion of this product.
This guitar is an absolute blast to play. The action is nice and low and the neck is smooth and fast. The small parlor sized body does cut down on sound projection while unplugged, buth tone you do hear is pleasing.
Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
No complaints .
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
nice growly tone unplugged. when amplified its got a nice bright tone.
Finish
How did the stain or paint job look?
This is where the compromise arose.I shopped for a small bodied guitar for some time. I tried out quite a few.I would dare say a purple flowered guitar is not to macho.Oh well.
Action
How was the action out of the box?
Action was good and no adjustment were needed.
