Subject:Solidly Built, suberb sounding stompbox
Overall: I am looking for a pedal to use with my Fender Hotrod deluxe, the drive channel being a little too harsh for certain styles, so I tried the BBII being the cheapest unit on the market (in the UK, at least) I was immediatly impressed by its warm, beautiful harmonics & smooth distortion. Perfect for bluesy rock, it reminded me of Brian May's sound (cranked, hard driven AC30's) I will almost certainly acquire one as they look & sound superb.

Overall: Very good pedal. Goes from nice boost to growling tube overdrive with the twist of a couple knobs.

QUALITY:
Quality is first rate. Built like a little tank. It has a real polished look. It wasn't thrown together and the chrome knobs and switch really puts the icing on the cake.

FEATURES:
Features are excellent, although I would have liked a bass boost. But it's not a big deal though.

EASE OF USE:
Easy to use is an understatement. Adjusting the controls to get the sound you want is a snap, really. Can you read? 'Nuf said. Caveat - the battery is not a treat to change. Battery changes shouldn't need any tools (or coins).

VALUE:
Great value - but oughta have a power supply with it. I'd gladly pay the extra 5 bucks for it up front so I don't have to make a second purchase to complete the deal, if you know what I mean.

SOUND:
Sound is totally awesome. Real vintage sound from squeeky clean to a little raunchy. You don't need the overdrive on your amp. Like the other guy said, just leave your a
