Classic Tone, Contemporary Control
The Haze15 contains three ECC83 preamp and two punchy 6V6 power amp valves, providing this two channel mini head with a pure-valve pedigree. A traditional Marshall EQ section of Bass, Middle and Treble allows total tonal control while the Normal and Overdrive channels create both pristine cleans and divine distortions with everything in-between. Turning up the Normal channel volume takes the clear, honest guitar tone and adds natural valve drive, compression and bite, which can be dynamically adjusted through your guitar’s volume control. Engaging the channel-spanning Bright function creates additional sonic sparkle and adds an extra cutting edge to your guitar’s tone. Switching to the Overdrive channel sees the amp really start to roar with simple Volume and Gain controls allowing direct, no nonsense access to your sound. At lower volumes the Haze15 creates smooth and rich overdriven tones, perfect for Bluesey riffing and heart-pounding rhythm playing. Crank this channel up and be rewarded with classic, full-fat, Marshall power amp distortion, and all without taking the roof off! Again, this channel responds extremely well with your guitar’s volume control for interactive tone control on the fly.
Creating the Right FX
The beautiful analogue tone produced by each Haze amplifier is matched only by the scope and creative possibilities of the studio quality effects housed within both units. The custom-voiced and widely adjustable Echo, Vibe, and Chorus effects have been specifically designed to help enhance your performance, whether applied subtly or heavily. Each effect is governed by the Effect Depth and Adjust controls which dial-in the amount of effect in use and control the Echo tempo and Vibe/Chorus modulation rates respectively. Completing the Effects section is a spring-emulated Reverb, which adds both space and fluidity to your overall sound. The key feature however, is that all effect settings are automatically stored to the current channel (and Overdrive Boost on the Haze40), and are recalled when you switch back to that channel – simplicity itself and all from a single footswitch tap. For the tone purists amongst you, the Effects section features true bypass, which completely removes the efffects circuitry and preserves that treasured all-valve signal path.
Fancy Footwork
Included with the Haze MHZ15 amplifier head is a two-way footswitch, enabling quick channel changes and FX on/off toggling. There’s no restricting amp-specific cable to worry about either, as all you need to connect the Haze Footcontroller (supplied with cable) to the amp is a simple guitar cable.
If you’ve been searching for a portable amplifier range that delivers on all tonal promises, then look no further than the Haze Series from Marshall, a truly versatile and dynamic blend of modern technology and pure analogue heritage.

Quality
Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
Good quality. It isn't $4K quality, but it isn't a $4K stack. For what it is at this price point, it is above average. It compares with all my other tube amps which are all nice.

Your general opinion of this product.
I think the stack is solid and well made. I haven't had a lot of time to fully explore all its capable of, but so far, I am impressed with the tone and clarity, even at cranked volumes. Coupled with my LP, the sound is awesome. Haven't really tried the Strat much, but I'm hoping for some Hendrix tones.
