The Marshall MC212 is a UK-made, compact guitar cabinet that's designed to give you incredble tone at an amazingly affordable price.
The MC212 fits all Marshall full-size heads, and features two 12-inch, 65-Watt Celestion speakers, carefully voiced to sound incredible in this cabinet.
The MC212 is shorter than the Marshall 1936 cabinet with an understated look (no piping, no skid trays). It is however, big enough to house a full-sized head and - it is MADE IN ENGLAND!
The MC212 operates in either 4-Ohm mono or 8 Ohms per side in stereo. It's the perfect partner for Marshall's popular MG100HDFX and AVT50H – both of which offer full power at 8 Ohms.
More about the MC212's Celestion Speakers
As mentioned above - a pair of 12-inch, 65-watt, 8-ohm custom-voiced Celestions. Custom-voiced? Yes. This is not a that’ll do, off-the-shelf speaker. A great deal of time and effort was put into ensuring the speaker voicing was all it should be while keeping the cost down. A frustrating task as it took many month and delayed the project considerably as a result. But, as you’ll hear, it was well worth it. Getting a cheap 65-watt speaker is easy, voicing one that’s sonically worthy of being loaded in an affordable 2x12 bearing the legendary Marshall white-script logo isn’t. By working closely with Celestion for several months though Marshall pulled it off!
Castors are optional. They are not supplied but castor sockets are pre-fitted.
