Phosphor Bronze strings are bright, but slightly warmer sound than 80/20 bronze when first put on the guitar. These Martin acoustic strings offer consistent tone over time. These strings have a copper/tin alloy, making them sound brighter than ordinary bronze strings.

Martin Quality Strings
Martin & Co. designs and manufactures the strings themselves. Like their guitars, each string is made with patience, care, and precision with only the highest quality materials to produce strings with exacting tone and superior performance. Not only are their packaging materials minimized and 100 percent recyclable, but the Martin envelopes reduce the tarnishing effect on the strings.
