The
Martin DCPA1 Madagascar Rosewood Performing Artist Acoustic Electric Guitar reflects the best of Martin innovation, expert craftsmanship and selection of superior tonewoods. As a Martin Performing Artist series model, the DCPA1 Madagascar Rosewood Dreadnought features a unique slim tapered fast neck for exceptional player comfort in all positions, a smaller and lighter PA ‘belly’ bridge for greater tonal response, and increased string spacing for easier finger picking.
This amazing Martin also includes the state-of-the-art Fishman F1 Aura Plus onboard electronics system that delivers striking acoustic realism and projection. Plugged in or pure acoustic, the DCPA1 Madagascar Rosewood is a great sounding guitar. The tops are solid Adirondack spruce, pearl inlaid in the 41 style, and driven by 5/16 inch Adirondack scalloped braces, forward-shifted in the ‘Golden Era’ X pattern.
The back, sides, and headplate are Madagascar Rosewood, selected for its beauty and close acoustic and visual resemblance to Brazilian Rosewood. Solid black ebony is used for the fingerboard and bridge. Details include grained Ivoroid bindings, Delmar beveled tortoise color pickguard, special ‘alternative torch’ inspired position inlays, gold enclosed tuners, bone nut and saddle. The most distinctive Martin Performing Artist production model to date.
