With the
Martin DCPA4 Siris Performing Artist Acoustic Electric Guitar, Martin introduces an exciting new tonewood called Siris, adding even more tonal color and variety to the PA series. Siris delivers excellent bass response reminiscent of East Indian rosewood, as well as a clear midrange and treble making it an excellent guitar wood for recording and for playing live. Lighter in color yet denser than rosewood, it produces a slightly longer sustain than rosewood.
Siris is typically dark orange, contrasting beautifully with the Sitka Spruce top, tortoise colored pickguard, grained Ivoroid bindings and special East Indian rosewood center wedge on the of the Martin DCPA4 Siris guitar’s 3-piece back. The DCPA4 Siris is a 14-fret cutaway dreadnought with a fast, comfortable Performing Artist profile neck, Hybrid X scalloped top bracing, black Richlite fingerboard and bridges and Fishman F1 Analog onboard electronics.
