Monster Cable Rock Bass Cable

Monster Bass is designed specifically for bass guitar. Monster Bass provides Multi-Gauge Time Correct Windings with Special Dielectrics and Ultra-Dense Shielding to deliver smooth, powerful low end. Ordinary instrument cables can rob your bass of its fundamental low-end punch. They’re not made to meet the specific needs of today’s bassist. Monster Bass cables feature dual heavy-gauge bass conductors and patented multiple-gauge wire networks, which deliver extended low-end frequency response and wide dynamic range. Patented MicroFiber dielectric provides quick transients and full harmonics, while dense shielding reduces interference and hum. Grab a Monster Bass cable today and get ready to rumble.

Features
  • Two thick bass conductors improve voltage and current transmission for maximum punch and an extended low end.
  • MicroFiber inner dielectric provides better isolation of magnetic fields for improved harmonic detail.
  • 95% coverage copper braided shield rejects RFI and EMI for a lower noise floor and increased resolution.
  • IsoTec vibration isolation technology further reduces handling noise.
  • Extra-flexible Duraflex outer jacket for superior reliability and cut resistance.
  • 24k hard gold-plated 1/4 inch connectors with collet strain relief are durable and corrosion-resistant.
  • Ergonomically contoured, heavy-duty body shell is easier to grab and offers hassle-free insertion and removal every time.

Quality: the casing is really thick, so they are fatter than regular cables i have used, the ends are metal and solid, they unscrew to reveal a perfect soldier, covered by a plastic shink wrap thing. i have the 21 ft w 1 right angle, and the 12 ft str-str, and i use them as my main bass cables. for 4 months now ive had no problems
Features: metal, cool looking ends, gold connections, thick casing
Ease of Use: its a cable, no prob. didnt really notice any change in tone like other reviewers
Value: so far, so good

Subject:Incredible Tone
Quality: These cables are very well made. They are thick and durable, should last forever.
Reliability: I just recently received a couple of these so time will tell about the reliability. It appears to be very well made and has the Monster warrenty, so it should be fine.
Overall: Expensive, but easily worth the price.
Playability and Feel: They are very thick, and somewhat heavy. I really do not mind since I know they are built with quality. I suppose it could bother some players.
Tone: The tone is the best part. If you have ever felt your low end was lacking, you need to get this cable. I have many basses (all are 4 string) and the tone on the low E is great. Crisp, clear and thick; just like it should be. I would imagine that the difference would be even greater with a 5 or 6 string bass.
Finish: Very nice looking cable.
Action: Action? Good?
Skill Level: Intermediate
"I love purchasing from AMS. The Payment Plan is so refreshing for part time musicians like myself. I would never be able to afford such great equipment otherwise."
