Product Description

The George Lynch Dragon 2 wah is perfect for heavier wah sounds. The Dragon 2 Wah features 3 selectable wah modes: regular, wow and wah lock. Wow mode is great for heavy guitar tones and lock lets you leave your wah engaged at your selected frequency via the Q knob in either wah or wow mode. Also includes switchless on/off for wah and wow modes. Heavy duty metal housing with sweet looking red finish and dragon design. Operates on 9v battery or optional power supply.

Morley's Electro-Optical Circuitry
An LED (Light Emitting Diode) shines on an LDR (Light Dependent Resistor). A shutter alters light between the two components controlling functions like Wah, volume and switching. Electro-Optical design ensures smooth pedal control without unwanted noise typical with potentiometer (pot) controlled pedals.

Morley's George Lynch Dragon 2 Wah Features

  • Switchless and electro-optical (no pots to wear out or get scratch)
  • Two wah modes: wah and WOW which is great for heavily distorted tones
  • Loudness control for both wah modes
  • New wah lock switch to electronically lock wah into wah mode. Notch knob determines frequency of locked wah.
  • True-Tone bypass buffer circuit ensures pure tone and maintains signal in bypass and all wah modes
  • Cold rolled steel housing, led indication, easy access battery compartment and two year warranty
  • Works with bass guitar too
  • Dimensions (LxWxH): 9.13 x 5.88 x 2.75 inches

Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?

Your general opinion of this product.
great wah pedal, with tons of sounds
Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
Both wah modes have wide and failey fast sweep range. They also go noticeably higher pithed than the bad horsie wah. sounds a little more dunlop than most morely pedals. wow mode is super cool with a more bassy and overdriven growl that still finishes with a high frequency. never heard a wah sound like this. You have to watch both wah modes when stepping to fast , this can create an unatural speedy sweep sound. wah lock mode is cool because it will sound different depending on wich wah mode you have selected(wah or wow). so you actually have 4 different sounds in one wah pedal!
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
A little more clasic nasaly dunlop than the midrangey bad horsie. I use both side by side for different sounds. the no switch on both make this very easy. This pedal in regular wah mode does a clean wah much better than the bad horsie 2 in my opinion. output level also works on all modes as opposed to only contour wah mode of bad horsie 2.
How did the stain or paint job look?
coolest lokking paint job on any pedal I have ever seen
