The Morley KIKO is one of the most versatile wah pedals out there!
Brazilian Heavy Metal Virtuouso Kiko Loureiro (Angra, Blezqi Zatzas and Silent
Moon), has teamed up with Morley to produce the KIKO distortion/wah/volume
pedal. Wah and volume are both set to Kiko's own specifications and are
switchable between wah and volume. Other features are independent distortion
with drive, level and tone controls, electro-optical on/off switching and
true-tone bypass buffer circuit for pure tone. Heavy duty metal housing and it
operates on 9V battery or optional AC power supply.
Morley's Electro-Optical Circuitry
An LED (Light Emitting Diode) shines on an LDR (Light Dependent Resistor). A
shutter alters light between the two components controlling functions like Wah,
volume and switching. Electro-Optical design ensures smooth pedal control
without unwanted noise typical with potentiometer (pot) controlled pedals.
Morley's KIKO Features
- Combo Wah, volume and distortion all in one handy pedal
- Wah and volume set to Kiko's specifications
- Switch between Wah and Volume modes
- Distortion works indepently of Wah/Volume
- Distortion drive, level and tone knobs
- True-Tone bypass buffer circuit ensures pure tone and maintains signal in
bypass and effect modes
- Electro_Optical (no pots!), cold rolled steel housing, led indication, easy
access battery compartment and two year warranty
- Works with bass guitar too
- Dimensions (LxWxH): 9.13 x 5.88 x 2.75 inches

| Wah +Volume + Distortion = Less pedals |
| Quality |
| Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? |
| It's a morley, you would know. |
|
| Reliability |
| How has it stood up over time? |
| It's heavy and sturdy. It feels great and I am sure u cannot break it easily |
|
| General |
| Your general opinion of this product. |
| I dunno about you, but I didn't want one pedal for volume and another one for Wah. It's hard enough to carry the pedal case everywhere. This pedal was the solution to reduce the amount of pedals I use. |
|
| Playability and Feel |
| How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? |
| volume and wah got an A! Distortion is like a cherry on the top but not it's main feature. |
|
| Tone |
| Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? |
| Great. |
|
| Finish |
| How did the stain or paint job look? |
| metal finish and heavy, nicely painted and feels tough |
|
| Action |
| How was the action out of the box? |
| It might take a little time for Morley wah users to get used to this one. Because the pedal is also a volume, it doesnt kick back to the initial up position automatically when u stop stepping on it. Wherever you lift you foot the pedal will stay. Morley users probably are used to the "when u lift your foot it kicks back" so all you had to worry is stepping on it... this one my require a little time to adapt... Nothing that will take more than 5 min to get the hang of it. |
