It's made of metal and i can't imagine it ever breaking.

FEATURES:
I got this instead of the VAI 2 because of the contour mode, which unlike most other wah pedals is very usable and easy to manipulate.

EASE OF USE:
No switch to worry about!! you just start to move it and it activates. some people don't like the 1 second delay when you turn it of but if you read the instructions for the VAI 1 on the website it will tell you how to change it to shut off instantly.

VALUE:
I paid 120 dollars for it, and for the quality and ease of use it is completely worth it.

SOUND:
This version is adjustable and I like to put the contour at 3 oclock and the level at 12 oclock. This setting really gives me the perfect sweep, and it is not to high like every other pedal on the market, my ears don't hurt when i play on this setting.

Overall: This thing smokes! It gives such a nice wailing sound and the tone and gain are not compromised. The quietness is incredible and the contour mode gives such a cool sound on both clean and dirty. I can't think of anything wrong with it. It's the best I've used so far!
