The Music Man StingRay 5 String truly is a force to be reckoned with. Offering tons of tone shaping options, solid construction and superb feel, the StingRay 5 is five strings of bass playing bliss. The 3 way lever pickup selector switch allows you to run the massive Music Man humbucker in 3 different ways, both coils in series mode, single coil, or both coils in parallel mode. That feature in addition to the 3 band active EQ gives you the ability to get the tone you need without messing with the amp or changing basses. Select hardwood body, maple neck and Schaller tuners top it all off, making the StingRay 5 one of the best basses on the market.

| Thee best resonant and sustainable, highest grade quality woods are here. The componants are solid, nice and tight, jack plate is sturdy, and I LOVE the 6 bolt neckplate. The tuning keys are precise. The bridge saddles are very stable, the intonation and action are perfect and the pickup is H-O-T!!! If I could add a feature to this babydoll, it would be...a standing ovation. |
