With anchor and better screws it is solid in everyday drywall. Sound: Reliability: I like the two screws above the weight point. Overall: These are ok, but I wish I got something else. Playability and Feel: Tone: Finish: Nice wood finish, the metal is painted flat black, it's not chrome like you see in the picture. Action: The hanger fits in a long thick plastic bushing and the whole things slides out, it's not secured to the wood base. I plan to jam it with a thin bookmark, then I can relax.
