The Djembe Jam DVD was created to help you get started playing and making music on your djembe drum.
First, you learn about all the parts of the djembe as well as variations in design and tips on caring for your instrument. Then you get set up, tuned up and ready to play. All the fundamental techniques are discussed, demonstrated and shown from different angles so you can see exactly how to make musical sounds on your drum - but that’s only the start!
This DVD also shows the four basic ways to create music on your instrument: Rolling, Riding, Riffing, and Resting, as well as three ways to listen and respond to what other are playing by Matching, Echoing and Answering.
