Quality
Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
The quality of the frame itself is sturdy enough for normal use, except that the driver enclosures keep falling off when you pick them up or put them down. They sounded decent at first. I used them to mix multitrack recordings on my DAW. Not long after, they started to distort at any moderate amount of volume. 100mW is not nearly enough for any mixing or instrument recording. Lesson learned. The cord now has a lot of crackle, and they aren't abused. They sat in my home studio, I didn't even take them to gigs.
Features
What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could?
Pro: They are comfortable enough to wear for several hours. Con: Cord crackles a lot and one side drops out to dead silence frequently. Wattage should be increased exponentially, but wasn't listed when I bought them. They should have a better connector so the drivers don't fall of when you pick them up.
Ease of Use
How easy is this product to use? How easy is the product to use with other products? Did it take long for you to learn to use this product? Was the manual helpful? How playable do you consider this product to be?
Plug em in and use em. Easy enough, except when you have to reattach the drivers to the frame.
Overall
Your general opinion of this product.
I expect 'studio' headphones to be 'studio' enough to handle the power that instruments put out, after all, you're recording instruments in the studio, right?
Value
Was this item an overall good value?
The best feature is the price, but while it might seem like a bargain, this is a good example of 'you get what you pay for.'
