The Behringer BX4500H ULTRABASS bass amp head is a massive 450-Watt bass amp head with patented* Dynamizer technology, boasting a switchable Ultrabass sub-harmonics processor for unbelievable low-end power and a revolutionary Shape filter for extreme sound range. Since flexibility has become a particularly important factor in the music business over the past few years, modern bass players need to offer a broad range of sounds, but should still be able to play in different kinds of settings at short notice: home recording, studio or live concerts.

This is why you get a complete set of useful functions that are simple enough to be operated intuitively and quickly. An extremely musical 5-band EQ with Bright and Deep functions gives you the ultimate in tone-shaping. There is an integrated limiter and an active, temperature-controlled cooling system for ultimate protection. You also get a vintage-style VU meter for precise signal level control. A dual footswitch for Ultrabass and Shape functions is included, and there are 3 speaker outputs on 1/4 inch jack and touch-proof connectors compatible with Neutrik Speakon. This product looks to be well made. I cant see any quality is well made. I cant see any quality or fit and finish issues with it.

FEATURES:
This amp has everything you would need in a modern solid state as amp. The Ultrabass seems a little useless.

EASE OF USE:
Very easy to dial in the right tone.

VALUE:
Extreme value!

It sounds pretty darn good. There is not a tone I cannot dial in.

This thing is built fairly well. The knobs feel a bit fragile but I have had no problems yet.

FEATURES:
This has lots of features such as the Ultrabass that plays a lower note along with you. There are other features to kick up low end and high end as well. I actually use none of them though. The analog VU meter is really cool and 'retro' looking but is small so will probably go unnoticed.

EASE OF USE:
Its an amp you plug in and turn the volume up what could be hard about that?

This thing is unreal for the price. My Kruger is in the shop right now and I got this as a temp amp and it really does the job just as well. I will probably buy another just as a backup.

SOUND:
This thing sounds great. I have a pre amp with fx eq's n stuff but I dont even use it and plug straight in. I think it sounds best on its own. I run it to a 18black widow and a couple of 12's and it rocks the

In my oppinion this is a spectacular product. This is my second bass head i had a hartke and i do not miss it.

THIS AMP FEELS SOLIDLY BUILTAND SO FAR DEPENDABLE (I ONLY HAD IT A FEW WEEKS)BUT THE ULTRA BASS FEATURE IS USELESS.THE SHAPE AND DEEP AND BRIGHT SWITCHES ADD A LOT OF GREAT SOUND TO THE AMP.THIS AMP SHOULD LAST A LONG TIME,SINCE I DON'T ABUSE MY EQUIPMENT ANYWAY.THE WORST FEATURE ON THIS HEAD IS THE INSTRUMENT INPUTS THE LOOK LIE PLASTIC ON METAL ,ALL THE OTHER INPUTS EXCEPT THE SPEAKER INPUTS ARE METAL . WHY? 5

I HAVE A DELUXE ACTIVE JAZZ BASS AND I CAN GET A FUNK OR JAZZY SOUND BY SETTING THE EQ. SAME THING GOES FOR ROCK OR BLUES.THE MANUAL CAN BE HELPFUL IN SHOWING YOU WHAT TO DO OR NOT TO DO WGHEN USING IT.
