A Little Powerhouse With a Vintage Sound!
What is your overall opinion of this product?
The issues (hum, hiss, tube rattle) don't negate this amp's stellar tone. There are easy fixes for each of those issues (a simple wiring mod, dialing in with the tone knob, and a simple foam-rubber fix for the tubes), and once you consider how much tone and clean headroom you get from this amp, at this price point (I can't think of any tube amps that put out more than 7 watts for this amount of money), it's a no-brainer. If you like a vintage sound, this is your jam. I was able to get great sounds out of all three inputs with my 2-pickup Harmony Rocket reissue, and the warm, old-school sound of this amp suited that guitar to a T. Couldn't be happier. For this price, it's more than worth doing whatever the amp needs. Very happy with this little monster.
