Numark DXM06 DJ MixerThe Numark DXM06 is a compact scratch mixer for professional DJs.
Featuring 24-bit digital processing, Numark DXM Series mixers deliver superior sound as well as many unique performance benefits. Each model provides unique performance-enhancing features.
The Numark DXM06 features 12 on-board digital effects (Flanger, Echo, Tape Echo, 2x Copy, Phaser, and Filter for CH1/Ch2, plus Vocoder, Echo, Tape Echo, Reverb, Limiter+Distortion, and Telephone for Mic/Aux), all routable to Ch1, Ch2, Mic/Aux or Master. The effects control interface uses a Beat Sync Tap Button, wet/dry fader, and rotary parameter control, plus kill buttons for instant, intuitive control.
The DXM06 is the lowest priced 24-bit digital mixer available with effects. All three DXM Series mixers feature Numark’s new D-Type digital crossfader for incredible feel and response, a reverse switch and continuous rotary slope control, 2 Phono (with phono defeat switch)/2 line inputs, 1 mic/stereo aux input, steep 3-band EQ with frequency kill, Look-Ahead Peak Limiting on headphone and master outputs, and RCA Record output and 1/4 inch Balanced Master Output.

Numark DXM06 Rear Panel
- Microphone Input: 1/4 Inch
- Phono Inputs: Sensitive RIAA phono preamplifiers. Only turntables with phono level output should be attached.
- Phono/Line Source Switch: Activates/deactivates the RIAA
phono preamplifiers.
- GND: This screw connector should be used to secure any turntables or other devices connected to the mixer that need to be grounded.
- Line Inputs: For CD players, Tape Decks, Samplers or other line level input devices.
- Record Output: An RCA output is for connecting a recording device such as a tape deck or CD recorder. The level of the record output is based upon pre-master levels.
- Master Output: RCA output for connecting an external monitoring device such as a PA system, powered monitors or a home stereo. The level of the master stereo output signal is controlled by the master fader.

| I had never even seen this mixer before this past weekend. We were having a party at my friends house for his birthday, and I just went over there not even knowing what equipment was going to be there. When I got there, the thing I was worried about the most was the mixer, if I was going to be able to figure it out soon enough to where my mixes wouldn't sound like crap. This mixer was soo easy to get used to...all I had to do was look at where the last DJ had his levels, and when I brought my record in, put my EQ's at the same level, and it was perfectly accurate for every record, throughout my whole set. I didn't ever want to end because I was having soo much fun playing with it, and messing around with the great quality effects! I seriously fell in love with this mixer. I want to get one for myself but...it's out of stock, what does that tell you? | |

FEATURES:
the fx are great; super simple to use. noise free crossfaders don't hurt either. Only things missing are bpm counters for when you have to mix in your cans and/or xlr mic inputs. 4
EASE OF USE:
Instructions? No need. Really, this is a take out the box and go to work, style mixer. I've been using mine since this thing came out (nearly a year ago), and have been having a blast since. However, because its so basic in use, it is a little lacking in the sound department. The WOW factor wears off pretty early, and it becomes just another part of your equipment setup, but its dependable, so that makes up for it.
VALUE:
Heh, I would NOT pay more for it, in fact the price is almost a little steep considering that its a basic mixer with D-faders and Fx. I accept those features as reasons to spike prices, but there's nothing | |

| This is an excellent mixer.Easy to use,I have 4 four my Dj class and it will definitley bring out your creativity with it's effects. Unless Numark designs a mixer better than this one I want be switching anytime soon.
QUALITY:
This mixer is made very well and the design along with the lit effects makes it look (pardon me) snazzy.
FEATURES:
The best features are the effects and how you can assign them to each channel. The eq, fader level consistancy with vinyl or cd is good. The only thing I would change about this mixer is to put the headphone input on the top and make the volume afor the headphones a bit louder, I had to make some minor adjustments because my personal TT's are in a case.
EASE OF USE:

FEATURES:
the most impressive features of this product are the built in effects! i was going to get a rane ttm57 mixer ($1500) but i opted for the numark ($250) instead and saved $1300 !!!
EASE OF USE:
this product is very easy to use it took me less than five minutes to set this up with my other equipment and start using!!
VALUE:
this product is a steal at the price!! i highly recommend it
SOUND:
the sound is very clear no hums or hissing and volume outputs to both the cue and master outputs are exellent |
