The Shure Beta 98S Condenser Drum Microphone provides the ultimate in performance and versatility for toms, snares and percussion instruments. This is a high performance, high output mini-condenser designed to excel at professional sound reinforcement or recording. Its ultra-uniform supercardioid pickup pattern provides high gain before feedback and excellent rejection of unwanted noise. As the successor to the popular SM98A, the Beta 98 features increased dynamic range, headroom and SPL. Physically, the mic utilizes a thicker, beefier Triple-Flex cable (detachable). Includes ILP-3 in-line preamplifier and swivel stand adapter. (Rim-mount gooseneck not included.)
