| Favorite amp I've ever played through |
| Quality |
| Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? |
| This product is of the highest quality. It's just a heavy, solid, orange brick. |
|
| Reliability |
| How has it stood up over time? |
| I have been using this head daily for two months now and absolutely no issues. I'm sure it will last many more years. |
|
| General |
| Your general opinion of this product. |
| The quality of sound is amazing. It is so rich. The difference between this and my old Crate stack are so stark, it is like getting my first Gibson after growing up playing 200$ guitars. Hearing what you actually play is important for growing as a musician. |
|
| Playability and Feel |
| How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? |
| Not sure this applies to amps haha |
|
| Tone |
| Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? |
| It can do anything from crystal clear to crunchy blues. Muddy, stone-chiseled Stoner/Doom riffs, to blistering pinch harmonic-laden Thrash. Just two nobs and so many tones. |
|
| Finish |
| How did the stain or paint job look? |
| Orange tolex is amazing. It isn't just rubber like some amps. It has like a woven mesh of fibers covered with rubber type substance. The iconic Orange color is cool too. I didn't really buy it for looks though haha |
|
| Action |
| How was the action out of the box? |
| Plugged it into a cab and jammed. I am sure this is meant for for guitars as well. |
