Product Description

Co-developed by one of the most legendary DJs of all time, the Ortofon Q.Bert provides unsurpassed handling, high output voltage, and low wear characteristics that literally put it in a class of its own. Turntablists and mix DJs alike will appreciate the strong output of this cartridge, coupled with unrivaled tracking ability and sonic characteristics.

The Q.Bert features a more subdued high end, which helps to minimize surface noise from worn vinyl, and an accentuated mid-range to help bring scratching to the front of the sound stage.

The CC Q.Bert Single includes one cartridge and one pre-installed stylus.

Concerns about 78 rpm plays
General
What is your overall opinion of this product?
The only reason I am giving it a three star instead of higher is that it seems to have issues playing a 78 rpm from the 50"s..it will be fine for pre war stuff you need to play,..and it has to weigh a great deal of force to play my better lp"s as in audiophile ones.2-3 grams. For vintage lp"s and 45"s it smokes baby! recommended for folks who wish to get their stuff heard well. It also may be me or my turntable's fault and that would bring this to 5 stars.
