This is the sturdiest gig bag I've ever seen! The level of protection is on par with a lower-level hardshell case.

It would definitely work well as a carry-on, but if you're placing this in checked baggage or anywhere your Ovation might tumble about you'll definitely have to shell out the dough for an ABS or other super-duper case.
